hangar28
I hope someone can help me. I'm working on a project comparing operating costs. I'm have a real hard time getting info for the AS350 B2. Can anybody give me an estimated direct operating cost per hour as well as a reserve for overhaul per hour? Just an estimate for west coast usa flying 500 - 1500 asl. Thank you, Mark

apiaguy
sorry, but you're going to have to be much more specific if you want help... ie. what do you want to consider as Direct Operating Cost... Fuel?, maintenance? Component costs? Reserves for worn out or broken parts that are not time limited?$500-$1500Reserve for overhaul of what? The entire airframe? Engine only? etc... Hang'em High
Call up LAPD or LA Sheriff and ask for their "Director of Maintenance" at the respective air units. Ask him/her for a ball park number per helicopter since that's what they both fly.
