Yamer Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Ok so those of you in the know, what is the best way to track your hours at Rucker besides collecting -12s... Any good apps for your devices? Or do you still use a paper book? I saw an app that automatically does online backup so even if your device pukes you can still recover your log Quote
akscott60 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Ive been using a paper logbook since 1998. I dont see changing anytime soon. The -12 will always lie. There are always errors. Quote

I thought I was the only one who still used paper. I actually lost my old one when I retired. I still kept all my -12s and 759s for proof though. Generally employers don't even look logbooks when it comes to hiring. If anything they want to see one 759 with a snap shot of all your stuff. Quote
SBuzzkill Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I use a paper logbook too. -12s are always wrong. It's a rule. Quote
supergokougt Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Paper logbook and then once a month take a photo of my logbook pages. Then back it up to whatever devices. Quote
SBuzzkill Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Hm, that's a good idea! When I get home I'm definitely scanning my logbook and uploading it to photobucket or something. Quote
