FreeFlyer Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Looking for some advice for getting a job in the late August/September part of the year as a 1000 hour pilot. I understand most jobs are seasonal like Alaska and from what I've seen most operators won't hire this late in the season or keep someone on through winter unless they've been working for them the entire summer season. Any advice or leads would be much appreciated. I have mainly Robbie experience flying tours, instructing, ferrying, frost prevention, game and pipeline surveys. I'm looking for something to keep me current and paying off my loans. Thanks! Quote
eagle5 Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Advice? Well, hmm... Get in your car, drive to Vegas/South Rim GC and start hand delivering those resumes. That's what I'd do. 1 Quote

aeroscout Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I don't know of any female tuna boat pilots. But there's always a first for everything. Quote
