JosiahDH
I went and talked to my recruiter today about LOR’s for the WOFT, he told me to get LOR’s from my family if they were former Warrants, is this something I should actually do? Or does family not look good in the packet ?
Thedude
I would try to get your family to contact their friends to help you with letters.
JosiahDH
Ok thanks, I will probably do this because I can imagine that having a family member do this will look biased.
gravityrideseverything
Hard no for family letters. Ask them for references. They should know plenty of people to at the very least get you pointed in the right direction.
Thedude
If you really think about it logically it doesn't matter in the least who the letter is from. No one is going to submit a bad LOR whether it's from a family member or a General. Everyone cherrypicks the best and only the best and half the LORs are written by the applicant themselves with the recommender's signature at the bottom.
