flyer88 Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Hey, I have recently been looking into starting helicopter flying lessons and I have been looking into Glacier Aviation Flight school in Olympia, WA. I have visited a couple times and it seems great and Mike the owner is very helpful and seems like a good guy. Of course, they would sell themselves to a prospective student who is about to give them 80k, so I was wondering there was anyone who has gone through it or knows anything about them to see if there are any downsides to the school. All the reviews I have read on here seem good as far as I can tell, but it is a big decision and I woudl appreciate any input or knowledge anyone has on this particular school. Thanks so much. Quote
sjanicki Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Hey @flyer88 - I started my rotor add-on to my fixed wing out of their Skagit location before it closed. I really thought their aircraft and instruction was top notch. Highly recommend them. Let me know if you have any specific questions, Quote
shanesplanet Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) I did my ppl there and started a fixed wing add on there. I highly recommend Glacier. I hope I didn't see this too late. Mike and Lori are stand up people. They have long time staff and that says alot. Murphy is great pilot. Edited December 27, 2020 by shanesplanet Quote
