AdminLB Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Hello All, If you get a Malware warning from google when trying to visit verticalreference.com, we are aware of that issue. There was a malware file maliciously placed on one page of verticalreference.com (not by us) on July 29, but nothing was on the FORUM of verticalreference. This forum is on a subdomain of verticalreference.com so it is guilty by association. We had our hosting company locate it and remove it from our server. The main site (verticalreference.com) and this forum (helicopterforum.verticalreference.com) are safe to visit. Google flags a domain (and subdomains) when it sees a suspicious file, hence the warning. We have submitted our domain back to google for review so that the warning page does not come up again. Feel free to visit the site. 1 Quote
Helipilot PTK Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Thanks for the update, I though it was just a false warning I had. Glad you found the problem. Quote
silver-eagle Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 What I don't understand is how Google gets in between my PC and your website. As far as I know, they aren't the DNS (at least by choice) I use and that warning drove me to a software vendor page NOT Google. Quote
eagle5 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I use Google to come here, but have never gotten a warning! Is this a PC vs. Mac issue, or just timing? Quote
Karl Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I got the warning in Mozilla but not in Chrome. Quote
