ChopperJ Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Ive seen people do that pre flighting on a Huey or an S92.... but never on a 300C or an R22. But OK..... the top of my bald had would probably have a few less scars on it if I at least wore a hat when I preflighted! It's a company wide policy, not just the Academy. Bristow has S92, AW139, S76, Bell 412, B407, etc... Quote
ChopperJ Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 It’s an element of their SMS….. Soon to be everyone's.... Yep, it's influenced by the big oil companies that have ultra strict SMS policies. If you want to do business with them you have to mimic their rules. You can thank the BP oil spill for this. Quote
Flying Pig Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Ahhhh ok. I was wondering how Bristow was going to make me wear a helmet while I preflight standing on the roof of my Huey! Edited November 19, 2013 by Flying Pig Quote
rubidug Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 FP, we should prolly be wearing a helmet all of the time. And a drool guard! Quote
