cburg Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 So what do you think? http://www.wikihow.com/Land-a-Helicopter-After-Your-Pilot-Has-Been-Killed Quote
eagle5 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I've thought about this before, only I'm on a tour ride in Vegas and the pilot has a heart attack. There's no way you're getting the pilot out of the seat, so forget about the pedals, unless you think you can push his legs to use them. You'll be hunched over sideways trying to use the cyclic and collective so good luck with that one! As a pilot myself I imagine this to be a long shot flying over the dead pilot from the passenger seat. Can't imagine a non pilot making it? After I successfully land it I then ask the operator for a job. Think this would be enough to bypass the 1000hr requirement? Quote

aeroscout Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Nope.I'm not so sure. I think it certainly might. If I was the Chief pilot I would make a job offer on the spot. Quote
WolftalonID Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 So stinkin easy!!! And to think about all that money I could have saved going to flight school. Quote
