helipilot14 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I am doing marketing and sales for new helicopters, but we don't have any idea how to figure out how much to get paid when selling the helicopters. Any idea what someone will usually get paid for doing the sales, and what amount of commission they would receive per helicopter that they sell? Quote

superstallion6113 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) CFI pay give or take a percent or 2. Edited August 6, 2014 by superstallion6113 Quote
tradford Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 If it's like most other industries, you've got to work that out with the manufacturer(s). They should know what the market price is and the commission has to come out of that. My agreements make the commission variable "to be agreed upon by both parties" as the negotiated pricing (and commensurate profit) drops. You need to have a formal representative agreement in place or you're just asking for trouble. Quote
