Nearly Retired Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 206 doesn't make sense, economically. R-44 is better. Same amount of downwash and cheaper by far to operate. Uhh, eastern Washington? Quote
rotormandan Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) The farmer wants a jetranger. Probably because it looks cooler in his front yard. If an R44 was ok, it'd make life easier on my end. There's plenty of those to go around. U coming up to the NW again this year? Edited March 25, 2015 by rotormandan Quote
Nearly Retired Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Meh, dunno. Nothing is firm. Sometimes I fantasize about drying in a 206 instead of something that's older than I am (and belches more loudly than I do). To be honest, the "fun" of spending two months sitting in an orchard waiting for it to rain is starting to wear thin. Quote
RagMan Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Call Leading Edge Aviation in Bend, Oregon. They would be more than willing to help. Quote
