U.S. Army Reserve WOFT Enlistment Program

According to AR 601-210 from last year, persons with no prior service are authorized to apply for Enlistment Program 9J, which is WOFT in the US Army Reserve.

Has anyone gone through this? Is it still an option?

Right, but this is a separate enlistment program from 9D, which is "active duty" WOFT resulting in a 6-year full-time commitment. It appears that 9J refers to a WOFT program leading to part-time service in the Army Reserve. I didn't know that such a program, available to those with no prior service, existed.

Have you looked at Guard at all? Thus far it has been my experience that even if the unit doesn't openly advertise a "street to seat" program, they may still offer one if in need of pilots.
