Or will they just transfer my current one over since it is technically still DOD? Just wondering because I’ve lived at so many places in the past ten years and it would be so much fun to redo all of that... KennyO Posted February 20, 2020 Report Share Posted February 20, 2020 Your initial expires in 10 years, but I am not 100% it will transfer. Like you said, dont know why not. I can confirm that your clearance renewal around the 10 year mark is a nightmare to fill out. Have all foreign locations and dates, residences and people you knew at each one, etc. I started early and still had trouble. I do have my letter of determination from the security manager as well. It was honestly just a thought that popped into my head. Thanks guys look forward to flying with you!
