coanda
200hrs, CFII, no dual given, no job, 1 1/2 years invested into "changing your career"? .....OR 2000hrs, ATP, 3 years into your "new career", qualify for nearly every job post... Except 500 TURBINE, and nowhere to get it!
Pohi
Hmm, not sure exactly what you are getting at here, but I applaud anybody who can dodge the CFII roulette game. But, still confused a bit about what you are asking. Comparing 200 hours and no job/prospects, to 2000 hours and a job I guess it all depends on if you want a job or not. Personally I enjoy flying, so I will go with the choice of having a job.

Except 500 TURBINE, and nowhere to get it! i would go with the 2000hrs option..that will give you a job and if an employer wants you to fly his turbine helicopter, he will / should pay for it. r22butters
With 2000hrs., and an ATP, I could probably hook up with Temsco, or Papillion to get my turbine, so I would definitly take that one! Since we're in the fantasy world here, however, I'd rather be flying the Space Shuttle, while there's still time.

Temsco, or Papillion require 2000tt ???? tesmco wants 1000tt but i don't know about Papillion requirements but i think it was 1000tt as well
