zippiesdrainage Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 So as an instructor, I figured that we can use this forum to share teaching tips and ideas to make learning to fly helicopters easier. So I was hoping to compile a list of all the different acronyms we all use to make remembering things easier. I figure that I may have some acronyms that you may not have and you can add it to your list and maybe make learning something easier, and likewise you may have an acronym that may surprise me and help me and my students remember some things. So I hope that you all help and pitch in with your own. 1. Compass ErrorsVDMONA or MONA has VDVariation, Deviation, Magnetic Dip, Occilation, Northern Turning Errors, Acceleration Errors 2.
