  1. 1. Do you subtract ground time from the hobbs time when logging an R22 flight?

    • When I fly the R22 I do not log my time from the hobbs, but start a timer when the skids leave the ground, that I stop anytime I'm back on the ground. (like the R44 hobbs does)

I just want to see how flight schools are teaching this!

I will never make another post on this subject,...EVER!,...and I encourage the rest of you to just vote!

How should a flight school vote if they do not use the hobbs to determine flight time for pilots?

If they use a hobbs and deduct .2 during initial training, how should they vote?

If they sit on the ground longer discussing something, how should they vote?

If the hobbs is in-op during the flight, how should they vote?

In all of these cases should we just abstain or just dismiss the poll because there is no option for us?

Can you add: O according to the def. & reg.
