Review of my Resume

Recommended Posts

Would any of you current pilots/recent selectees be willing to review the draft of my Resume for the board? I'm looking for input and some tweaking. If so, would you send me a private message or drop a post on here and I'll email it out to you? Thanks.

If your able to visit findapilot.com many pilots have their resumes posted there. It will give you some examples on how others are putting together resumes. That said, some may not be as well put together as others....so review them carefully.

Is there a standardized format for civ? If so, can someone please direct me to where it is and/or share?

I used a federal format. PM me an email and I will shoot you mine as a template.

Figured I'd breathe some life back into this thread with a question of my own. As a prior service applicant, what would be the most highly suggested format for the resume? Also, what are the main points to hit on the resume? I have one that I have been keeping up to date but I want to revise everything to make it perfect. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, I have been site stalking for a while and I just want to say thanks to anyone and everyone who put information about the SIFT on here I just took it the other week and got a 69, so I am pretty happy with that. Back to the topic at hand I am active duty 11B, Sergeant, and need the same help as mcclainm. I am working on my resume now and I am getting hung up on what they want to know and see on each duty position, If anyone would like to share their resume or pass along some advice, besides whats on the USAREC website, please I cannot express how grateful I would be.
