Quick question regarding the "pre-MEPS" health assessment questionnaire (my rec station handed me a packet that looks like this questionnaire has been combined with the SF86). I know you've all heard the stories about new recruits being told by their recruiter that answering NO leads to "New Opportunities" and answering YES gets you automatically DQ'd. Just curious how common is it for someone to answer yes to some of these questions. I by no means intend to lie on the questionnaire, I just notice a few areas where I have to answer yes, and it's got me worried that I'm going to get passed over this early in the the game.

I answered yes to a broken leg at age 4 and an allergy to pcn... Didn't stop anything for me

It depends on what it is. I answered yes to broken bones and surgeries, just had to show them the documentation and that everything was healed.

Please tell me they made you get a clearance letter from a doctor? If they didnt and you only had to submit the records that would be good news. This is my biggest holdup right now and mine wasnt even reconstruction.
