Just picking up and setting down without all that extra weight is one of the hardest adjustments to make for your solo.

Congratulations, and have fun with the rest!

Yea it is definitely a lot different. I used a lot more right cyclic when I pick it up and when I set down left skid touches first. A little weird to get used to. I felt very comfortable though. thanks for all the comments.

Waterway, You have 3 hours now but add another 10 to that and you will start feeling very confident about your hovering. I have 37 hours btw. I could have hover soloed around 20 hours but I don't fly regularly. I fly once or twice a week if that. I guess my instructor wanted to make sure I was good and ready. I was just like you at 3 hours but like everyone says you will get it sooner or later.
