I got her finished her up after 5 1/2 hours since 7am this morning. Had to wait on ceilings to open up a bit between the ground and flight portions. Everything went extremely well though! This has been a long time coming. I should have been done with my CFI 6 months ago, but I can't complain right now. I pushed through and got her done!

I'll be tracking CFII over the next couple months. Beer time tonight!

Did you not track IP? I tracked MTP and got stuck... Now I'm back tracking in the civi world for my CFI-H... Luckily I already have all my fixes wing CFI's.. But I have to go back and get my R44 hours now.

MTP= Maintenance Test Pilot. IP=Instructor Pilot

So let me get this straight, RagMan used to be a Military pilot and is now going civilian, and wopilot is wondering why his army flight time didn't track over?

Not the flight time itself, it's the civilian rating equivalent. If I remember correctly from my mil pilot conversions, they can go different routes in their career. Some go the ip route, and therefore can get their faa cfi easily. The mtp route doesn't convert to a FAA cfi.

All of my time is civilian accrued. I have no actual military flight time. Wish my 6 years of crewing H-60's accounted for something, but unfortunately it doesn't. You probably pounced at the term I used; Tracking.

Awesome accomplishment congratulations.

How long have you been training now? (total time)

Thank you. I started flight training here in Oregon during the summer of 2010. I've got just over 200 hours total time in helicopters.
