cryesis Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 So for you pilots out there working jobs that can put you in the seat for hours at a time, how do you react when mother nature lets you know its time to go? This should be an interesting topic 1 Quote
SBuzzkill Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) FARP turn or dismounted recon. Edited January 24, 2015 by SBuzzkill Quote
Wally Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I stop and go. PHI had a 3 1/2 hour max period between level checks, which made breaks mandatory. Quote
apacheguy Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Pack a 'sh*t kit'. 2 VFR sectionals, wipes, and a garbage bag. Quote
avbug Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I try to avoid too much liquid intake prior to flight, or when on call, during those hours, and in flight to limit intake to just what's needed. I avoid caffeinated drinks that act as diuretics. In the aircraft, I carry an empty gator aid bottle, and plan restroom brakes to coincide with fuel. On long range flights, I use the lav. 1 Quote
Joe_P148 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 You ain't cool unless you pee your pants. Limit liquid intake, Gatorade bottles, or FARP. Quote
eagle5 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I used to limit my intake, then one hot ass all day in the 44, I got dehydrated,... not a fun experience at a thousand feet. Drink a lot when its hot, and just pee in your Depends. Quote
cryesis Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 well a gatorade bottle covers one bodily function.... Quote
