Not too freak any of the AD guys out, but a buddy of mine who was selected in the NOV board got a class date of August...he was a younger guy who doesn't have WLC so I'm hoping that's why his class date is so far off

Was hoping to have a class date around that time frame

I am a guard guy, only 22 and I got my dates for basic in May. But I signed the contract and got my dates on Jan 16. It sounds like the later everyone gets their school dates, the further out the dates are. I bet the early classes have just filled up and that it has nothing to do with experience, but rather time of enlistment. That's just my guess. Which sucks for the guys who have waited for weeks to find out if they have been accepted.

For civilians, I'm thinking dates are pushed back due to high schoolers joining after graduation. But we'll all get there eventually as new selectees.

I have a question for ya'll -- if you didn't get selected for WOFT, would you still join the Active Duty Army in some other capacity, or would it be something else?

Hello everyone,

Just got picked up as well :)

No ATRRS email as of yet. I'm active duty. Hoping movement comes quickly, the sooner the better!

It took me a month to get an ATRRS date.

First and foremost, congratulations to everyone for being selected!!!

Question: I am facing a medical waiver for an Astigmatism that is +3.50 diopters of cylinder in my left eye. Has anyone gone through a similar process and been awarded the waiver??? If so, is there any advice that can be given???

Thank you in advance!!!

My advice is to go see a civilian doctor, tell him specifically whats going on and why your there to see him, get checked out, and get him to sign a statement releasing you of any detrimental or compounding effects. There is a movie on youtube (forget the name right now, sry) about two Navy F14 pilots. One was shot with a gun through his throat and ended up going to a lot of doctors until he finally found one who knew what he was talking about and signed him off. I say dont give up, astigmatism is easily corrected. Idk if you will be successful, but worth a shot.

No they sent it to my AKO acount, even though on my DA 61 I put my enterprise email. I'm already in the ATRRS system from other classes and schools I've been through so I'm pretty sure they just entered my social and sent it to the email address already on file, which was my AKO.
