akscott60 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I had a 4 month wait. 8 months is madness. Quote
skyreaper Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Quick question for those already in; Besides Hooah, what other types of motivated speech does the Army have? Quote
UH60L-IP Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Quick question for those already in; Besides Hooah, what other types of motivated speech does the Army have?  "Three day weekend." Other than that, please spare us the "Hooah's" and "Airborne's." Quote

egscharf Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 "Pass in review", "Zonk", "ENDEX!", "Green Light, Go!"You'll figure out how beautiful each one truly sounds in the proper context. Also, just got my slot for 07 OCT. As much as I'd like to bitch and moan about the massive delay, I'm ridiculously happy to have a slot. More time to sell my boat, knock out Phase One, renew my flight physical anyhow. Plus I live in Hawaii, so there's that. Honestly though, I'm ready to go now as well;) Quote
akscott60 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Please do not Hooah anyone. BCT will drive it into your brain, and WOCS will surgically remove it. Quote
Yamer Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Haven't said hooah since ait... We had an instructor at ait, mr tejada for all you aviation peeps, who says airborne for everything but that's it. Nothing now. Quote
Yamer Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Do yourself a favor, stop saying sorry before you get to basic, under stress you will automatically say sorry drill sgt... Bad idea 1 Quote

lee122485 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 For you military guys, have you heard anything about separation dates (AF guys) or orders? No the only thing I've got is a date. Beyond that, nothing, and I have no clue on what to do next. Quote
jeepster32 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 No the only thing I've got is a date. Beyond that, nothing, and I have no clue on what to do next.I talked to AFPC and they said I had to have EAD orders before they could push my separation down to the base MPS. So I'm guessing that's what comes next. Quote

So I'm guessing that's what comes next. That makes sense, but do we need to go to MEPS before we get EAD orders? I just think for inter-service transfers, there needs to be a list specifying tasks needing to be accomplished after selection up until day 1 at WOCS. 1 Quote
jeepster32 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Yeah it can never be that easy though :/. From what I understand, we will get report dates for MEPS and everything Irvin 90 days of selection Quote
TriViper Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Not that I want to think like this, but if you don't cut it in flight school, what happens? Quote
