WolftalonID Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Wow.. Maybe when I become a rich helicopter pilot, I can where my emotions on my sleeves, and remind everyone everyother time I speak of how rich I am..... Then mix it with a little religion... ..... Or not, maybe I just want to be a pilot, smile, and enjoy a little silly shoving once in a while. Quote
helonorth Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I took a week off of training when my primary CFi helped ferry a bell from TX to Idaho, didnt pay anything to ferry it. He enjoyd the time spent, and it was fun to see the photos...thats got to be close enough to someone saying it??Sure it happens. I got 30 hours way back when. I meant anyone on the forum that got any free ferry time from anyone on the forum. Here I thought I was defending the OP, but he tells me I'm not rich because of my negativity and to read a couple self help books to get my life straightened out. I have changed my opinion about him. I knew there was a reason I always stayed away from Robinsons. Quote
Pohi Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 You don't have to be rich to own a R44 (especially if you sell time in it at or above above operating costs). Now if you have your own AW139 to cruise around in, that's impressive. Regardless, the amount of money a person has, whether is earned or came from daddy, doesn't mean a thing when it comes to character. Quote
apacheguy Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 The reason the 5% owns so much is that they don't play by the rules unlike the rest of us. They exploit other people for their benefit. They're also not well liked. Bernie Madoff and Hillary Clinton are great examples of that. Quote

They're also not well liked. Bernie Madoff and Hillary Clinton are great examples of that. No, the reason the 5 own the 95 is because they think I.e. use their brains. They are also keen to thinkers with new ideas instead of the nearly constant barrage of naysayers. There's a new guy who began another thread in another area of this website looking to buy his own helicopter and possibly use it for business. You'd have thought he inquired about drowning puppies. So many there had nothing but negative stories and "I wouldn't do THAT if I were you" replies. It's sad. We are a nation of proctors.Drive through San Jose and scream out the window "You're wasting your time!" to all the entrepreneurs who most certainly are not wasting their time and you'll get weird looks as if to say: "Who says I'm wasting my time?" Try thinking positively AND productively and try to gather around smart, eager people who want to go places instead of the ney sayers who cannot wait to shoot your big idea down.Stay away from stupid and RUN from negatives. Flying Pig Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Typical cop. You can't stand it when you are helpless, eh, Barney Fife? Wouldn't you love to flash out your shiny badge and berate me....for....what, exactly? Where did I say I was never coming back? Reading skills still not much of a requirement at the local precinct? Typical dumbass cop.Say, weren't you the cop who got in hot water on Just Helicopters a few years ago for saying really stupid things on the forum and said stupid things were then sent to your boss? Is that you, again? Still have not learned your lesson, eh??Sorry kid, if anyone just went full tantrum helpless mode Id say you win the trophy. As far as your silly attempt at libeling me, no, sorry to burst your investigative bubble Columbo, but that wasnt me. Reading skills though, you are correct. Thank the Lord reading wasnt really on any of my entrance exams. I just had to prove I could drag my knuckles on the ground when I ran and write my name with a Crayon. 1 Quote
Spike Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 (edited) I love the fact, I’m a common man…….. I once flew for a Silicon Valley high roller along with his associates. (If you think I should name, names, then you’ve never had the opportunity). The one common thing a few of them had was; an undeniable desire to fly helicopters. And, I learned, huge money begets desires beyond capabilities, and thus, why I was eventually hired. That is, owning a helicopter offers a falsehood of flying a helicopter. To wit, it was surreal; multimillionaires wishing that had the skills I had…. Skills of simply flying a helicopter all the while knowing, skills they’d never achieve …. That is, the achievement of earning a living flying helicopters. For me; a priceless livelihood which no amount of money can buy….. Ever... While growing up and surrounded by money, I learned, if it’s new, it will cut you. If it’s old, it stinks….. I’ll take being the lower part of the 95% any day….. Moreover, what I know of the 5%, they are 100% sheep and rely on the 1% to protect them…. Lastly, Pig dude is falsely accused as I know the accused. With that, I’ll insist the moderators step in as the statements made against him are getting close to, if not completely, violating the rules……. “Do not use names, initials, or identifiable descriptions of individuals in our industry in an attempt at character assassination unless you are willing to post your full name and email and stand behind your words. “ Edited April 5, 2015 by Spike 1 Quote

AD13 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Thank you to Keith for coming down to fly our ship. Quote
kona4breakfast Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Are you seriously threatening a lawsuit because of comments on an internet forum? For somebody who claims to not be on the site much, you apparently make a nice exception for cases of extreme butthurt. Welcome to America. Quote
keitkalk Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 His deal is legit, I paid for 10 hours to build some time and had a great time, I flew with his pilot and he is a very experienced and knowledgeable pilot. If anyone needs to build Inexpensive R44 time then I recommend calling him. It's definitely worth it. you won't regret it! Quote
virginiapilot Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Thank you, Keitkalk! We enjoyed having you. The last few days we have had an EMS pilot here to build time. He's from Florida and getting in some nice flying in our beautiful, late summer Virginia days. The fellow said he had checked all over the U.S. and we had the best deal, so he traveled up from central Florida. I have a few hundred hours left to sell, so if you need quality R44 time with a CFII who is extremely talented, give me a ring at (434) 841-8405. Price is now $200 per hour dry. CFII is $25 per hour and my heli burns about 14 to 16 GPH. It totals about $320 to $325 per hour (including fuel and CFII) and I don't know anywhere with a better R44 price. I'm a private owner who simply doesn't fly often and my IA and A&P have urged me to lease the ship out some so it can get to stretch its legs more and sit in the hanger less. 1 Quote
