Submitted corrections last week and finally got my extension done and submitted today. Waiting for them to tell me I'm board ready. My stats are not very good compared to everyone else's I have seen on here but I'm hopping my LORs and strong resume make up for it.

Age 27

GT 118

SIFT 49

AFPT 245

Physical done but needed waiver for small heart procedure back in 09

9 years USCG PO2

45 or so hours

A few hours stick time from when I was working on my private license but didn't even mention it in my packet.

LORs O3 O6 and CW5

I have a lot of leadership schools and been recognized as a high performer and it shows in my packet so hope they see my potential.

Good luck to everyone!

I checked the numbers of previous boards, the percentages seem to be pretty high. If the Army is saying its attempting to increase the number of personnel selected then it seems there will be almost a +80% chance of being selected as long as your not a dirt bag. These are active duty numbers selected vs applicants.

March = 50/83

May = 68/78

July = 90/95

September = 82/112

I think I'll finally be able to make this board after a year and a half of recruiters being transferred, numerous unreturned phone calls, and excuses.

Age:19

Degree: High School Diploma (graduated year early) 2.6 GPA😓 Also a Northwest Lineman College Graduate with 3.8 GPA but I left that out.

ASVAB: 92 (nobody will tell me what my GT is)

SIFT: 64

Flight Time: I have 20 or so hours in a 500, but I didn't even bother mentioning it.

LOR's: Colonel of Idaho Army National Guard, Brigadier General of Idaho Army National Guard, Retired Colonel of National Guard, Retired Army CW4 (human factors integration specialist, Aircrew Integration Branch, Aviation Engineering Directorate), and the Lieutenant Governor of Idaho

PT: 236 (I'm going to try to retest before I submit)

Other Notes: Father is retired -64 pilot Warrant Officer and now owns a helicopter construction company so I have a LOT of hours around helicopters. Also have leadership and community service being a president for 2 groups and a treasurer for my high school class. My battalion board is scheduled for next week, and then my flight phys. will follow and shouldnt have any issues.

Overall, I feel decent about my packet. I would have a way better shot if I had college, wasn't 19, and had a better PT. It is what it is though.

Good luck, everybody! Hope we get a 100% selection this board!

Why did you leave out the Lineman school transcripts? If I were on the board I would not select you based on your 2.6 GPA in high school. Flight school is a difficult program and the only academic records you submitted show you would not pass.

Include your flight time in your packet, it can only help you.

Thanks, dude... Well, first of all, my recruiter told me that they wouldn't care about my lineman school (although, I don't really take his opinion to heart). Second, I didn't want the board to question how dedicated I'll really be to the program if I didn't pursue a career that I paid 20k to go to school for. Also, doesn't my SIFT score at least say that I'm a good test taker? Anybody else have an opinion about that? I've gone back and forth about how I feel about it and would love some input. I'd also like an opinion as to whether I should include a resume or not.... I really would like to because it represents my leadership and community involvement really well, but my recruiter is telling me otherwise. I'm starting to get the feeling that he just doesn't want to do the extra work to attach my transcript and resume. Thanks again for the feedback, sir!

Nope, like most I'm still waiting on the board ready status, been a little over 5 weeks now. I do have one waiver though, so hope to hear an update soon.

Have you contacted your recruiting team yet? I hadn't heard anything, so I contacted them they let me know it was board ready. Don't be afraid to ask them.

They must be busy this week with the four day weekend that passed. I emailed them yesterday for a packet status and no reply yet. I will be relieved once I know my packet is board ready.

I emailed them this morning and just got an email about 30 min ago saying I had 2 more corrections. I fixed them real quick and submitted. I hope Im not kicked off this board because I thought corrections were due the 9th?
