Optamix Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I wasn't sure so I just put some lined paper under computer paper, you can see the lines through it. Quote
aeroengineer Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 Just took sift scored 67 is that solid? my afast was 126. Which score looks better? Quote
I.am.Specialized Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 They dont care about the AFAST. The SIFT is just a more a less a measure of if you could pass or not. Both aren't as big of factors as people think, but your SIFT looks good. Quote
tydaddy Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I was selected last year...at the time had some family circumstances which kept me from going..."reboarded" and am signing my papers on Thursday. My recruiter told me that he does NOT recommend letters from politicians...simply because they are usually generic letters. He highly recommends getting in touch with CWO's and meeting them, and speaking to them. For reference, my LOR's were from a Major, former tank commander, now at the state department who is a buddy from high school, A Navy Lt. who is a flight doc, who was a best friend growing up, and a CW4 that I just happened to meet at a friends fathers 50th bday party who I ended up speaking with for hours. The letters should be personal, and speak to your specific qualities... Quote

ftxag76 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Renewing your class 1 shouldn't be that difficult. And should have a quick turn around. However I stress the " should" part. Quote

Hotdogs Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 The 2.48 GPA is your problem. I would probably bet that's 75% of why you didn't get picked up. Quote
