Just got the call from my recruiter said I made it and act surprised when the colonel calls you.

 

Good luck to everyone else waiting on phone calls, I know it was a very nervous half hour for me.

Congrats to those who made it, those who didnt, keep trying. Its going to a be a long few days waiting to hear about AD. Wonder how many people are in this board.

I wonder what the AD selections will be like.

Scary from a personal viewpoint, sure. For the Army it's a good thing to have more applicants than slots. The 100% selection rates aren't sustainable or good for the recruitment of the highest qualified candidates.

I called my recruiter/neighbor and he is on the phone with his boss to get info for me (sister service). Ill post when he gets back to me, but he did say civilians will hear first because the Army doesnt want to waste time and potentially let them slip away. Is AD folks are stuck so not much of a sense of urgency for us

No word yet for AD, but my buddy in primary now just said Civilians found out the week of the board and he found the Wednesday after the board. Civilian numbers and Active duty numbers did not correlate so dont look to hard into the 25/51 civilian selection rate

My recruiter was out at schools and said that he would get me the results as soon as possible. Soon after results were released though I got called by someone who was above my recruiter in the same recruiting battalion and gave me the news.

My recruiter sent me a partial picture of the list. I have about 15 of the 25 names. If youd like me to check the 15 I do have just send me a PM with your name and Ill check.

Idk man I wouldn't count it out, you have better/similar stats as me and are younger than me. I could have just been lucky to have someone excited to tell me the news.

Yeah. But one of the battalion board members didn't recommend me. The other two gave me amazing recommendations but the one tore me apart

Still, dont count it out until you hear the news.

 

Also, if you dont make it, it could be a good thing, lots of twists and turns and bumps in my packet process all seemed to put me in an even better position to be accepted. Silver linings
