It wouldn't make sense for them to do that. Every other board the civilians are boarded on the first day of the board and the results are put out right after. It wouldn't be consistent with any board I've ever seen.

According to the Battalion guy I talked to (and you can take this for what its worth, just passing along what he said), its all up to how fast the NCO who's in charge of sending out the memo and getting everything in order is. He said last year they had one that was so on top of things that most of the Civ Warrant Boards were sent out late Monday afternoon. He mentioned that the one that's been doing it since has been sending them out on Tuesday (which is consistent with the previous few boards), but just last month they got a new guy on the job and he said he doesn't know if he'll be as on top of it as the previous guys.

 

Also putting that together with the board not starting til Tuesday because of the severe weather issues they had in the Fort Knox area on Sunday, wouldn't be surprised if its Friday...

Oh ya that definitely sounds right about it hinging on that one guy that creates the memo. I really don't see how making a memo would take until Friday but hey, it's the Army so I wouldn't be surprised.

Oh ya and I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. I mean I thought there was no way I could have a completed packet in July and not be on the September board but look at me now haha But here's to hoping you're wrong and we find out first thing tomorrow morning.

Making/formatting memos and getting them signed can be its own special hell in the army.

My only blemish is a misdemeanor charge from 15 years ago that I had to get a moral waiver for. I was told that everyone with a moral waiver was automatically forwarded as a NS. Hoping because they are so short things will go differently.

Well, the only thing the board sees is that your waiver got approved. That being said, I'm not sure exactly how bad your offense was...misdemeanor...I don't know. I'm very curious to how "short" they really are. I think you will be fine. This is my second application. I'm extremely optimistic.

I also have a feeling that they are shorter on the November board vs. September board. That's the impression I'm getting.

Like rickdarnell25 and 2ndGenArmyAviator, this is also my second look. I'm so hopeful that my observation I made to Justine holds true (that they need to open the floodgates by raising the acceptance ratio).
