Dmurray Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 Lakotas are lame as sh*t.I don't know, they look pretty interesting to me. I don't think I would want to learn to fly in one though. Quote

Insights_STG Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 And you base this on your wealth of knowledge.... haha You're right, I really don't know that much about them.. Being a military aviator is awesome, no matter what you're piloting. Quote
Creep0321 Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Lakota selection moved to tuesday..... Quote
Insights_STG Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 Echos is where you wanna be, I'm in the echo course and although I've never flown the delta, it's the few little upgrades that make the echo a much better aircraft. Also we don't have nearly as many maintenence problems as the deltas. So wait.. 1. The Echoes are newer than the deltas.. 2. They have some "upgrades" which make it superior in some way to the deltas. what are the upgrades? But more importantly , why wouldn't the Army be sending its brand new helicopters into action? Why are they giving the upgraded versions away to places like North Carolina.... That's outrageous. Deltas prolly have maintenance problems due to all the bullets they are having to deal with.. Give them the new sh*t Quote
napoleonpp Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 He's so right. I've never thought of it that way. If there is one thing that can cause TADS issues, it's probably because all the rounds it took 10 months ago when it was deployed Quote

jaydenp Posted July 30, 2016 Report Posted July 30, 2016 I honestly don't know what was the point of your reply, but if you are looking to get a rise out of me on the internet, good luck. If you honestly have a problem with me or what I say then you can pm me and you can meet me face to face to say whatever you have to say. I dont play childish games on the Internet. Please, continue expounding on the differences between the E and D with your 17 hours of flight time based experience. Quote

The point of my post is that you have no idea what the difference is between the E and D in regards to battlefield effectiveness or maintenance reliability. You are a flight student giving advice to others based off nothing. In regards to how you responded to someone busting your balls on the internet, especially with your "meet me face to face" reply, which is hilarious, I can tell you that you are not going to do well as the WOJG. Remember, the Apache community is a very small world, which you should know already. 7 Quote
brackac Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 Note to self: Don't make fun of flight school students, they will challenge you to a midnight duel in the parking lot of Oscars. 4 Quote
VelosiT Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 Nah f*ck that, we settle our duels with hoverbattles. It's like Beyblade but with taxpayer money. Quote

VelosiT Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 You misunderstand. We smash the rotor discs together until only one pilot is left flying. Like Beyblades. This joke worked a lot better in my head. 3 Quote

This joke worked a lot better in my head. Honestly, I had to google "beyblades". Looking at the wiki, I had already been in the military 7 years when the game was released. Getting old sucks! 2 Quote
USCav19D Posted August 1, 2016 Report Posted August 1, 2016 Yeah well VelosiT got a 80 on the SIFT. Barckac From what I've heard from friends at Hamchey is that the Deltas are down for maintaince a lot more often than Echos. As a result folks in the Delta course are doing more make up days flying multiple periods or on the weekend. To that end Id prefer Echos. I select next Friday, the 12th, and hopefully there will be a 64 waiting for me. At this point I don't care if it's a D or an E. So long as it carries a ton of ordinance and can fly I'll be happy.
