May 2015 WOFT Board

Recommended Posts

I got the call around 630. I was SELECTED!! This forum board helped me in more ways than I can count. I had a last minute age waiver back in December when I turned 33, and then my recruiters turned it in late causing me to miss out on the January board due to the 6 weeks turn around time for waiver approvals. This whole process started in July last year. It has been a long trip but the payoff starts today. Thank you all for your help and congratulations to all of those who were selected. No longer a pipe dream!!

Congrats to everyone selected, I realized back in January that if I can get selected then anyone can, the board definitely looks at the whole soldier concept because I was one of those 55 selected in January and I am 25, only 4 years in service, no college, and only a 50 on the sift test but was still selected. Keep your heads up everyone and good luck

Oh, another prior service guy! I can take some heart in that.

Hopefully they won't hold the fact that I'm a year shy of my B.S. against me. I'd be starting my senior year next semester if I'm a non-select.

The sooner the better. If I don't head to Rucker before August then I'll probably end up using a little bit of my GI bill for the BAH bennies until I PCS.

Hopefully they won't dick this up and decide I need to go through BCT again. I don't know why they would, but the Army does work in mysterious ways.
