Shindig, go get a job at the local airport as a refueler. Not an international airline airport but a smaller one. More of a chance of making good connections.

You have to admit, the creativity just keeps coming. Can't wait for the blood test results, that should be a good one.

The report said that I have HIV, but the doctor man told me it was ok to go

They can kill you but they can't eat you, because that's against the law.

Keep at it.

I'm sitting in the USO at St. Louis waiting for the flight to Dothan. I'm surrounded both by privates headed to AIT from Leonard Wood, and kids heading to all the various IET posts the branches have to offer.

I think you all are grossly underestimating the level of ignorance 17-18 year olds have these days. Especially zero to barely zero military experience.

Shindig, while possibly a troll, is also likely quite real.

If I wasn't in the military, I would believe that shindig was just a troll. However, five years active duty Army, I back up that statement 100%.

Scary to say the least, but sadly, often true.

Shindig,

Don't leave us hanging, you said your Flight Physical was scheduled for this week. So...how did it go?

Wall eye vision. Gonna have to go up thru the rectum for surgery to correct.

hey trade, i was supposed to go thurs and today but i only went thurs for part 1 because something came up today that was urgent and i had to deal with ....i told you guys i was really nervous about the blood draw not because i was worred i might have a disease or anything like that but because I sometimes get really dizzy and light headed after they hit my vein with the needle...and I was even more nervous for this flt phys because i heard they take a lot like 6 tubes. But i just looked the other way and tried to think good thought and everything was pretty much fine...i have no idea how much he took out ....i did feel it a little after i stood up but it went away...i think the difference is that i had some gatorade and chips in the morning and that helped because it put salt and water in my blood steam

So thurs i did blood work, bp, hearing and got my eyes test...which they checked everything on earth with my eyes including the air pump.... and so next week i do the ekg and some measurements I think and then i'm done. But so far i'm good which is awesome and guys i'm telling you i will be so happy when i get this phys done because its another big step for me... actually my neighbor who was a coach before said he will take me to dinner at tgi fridays as kind of a little celebration if i pass the last part so just a little something to look forward to

So there's this little fun 3 week course we do in flight school. If somehow you make it, I am seriously considering going through it again just to see the gloriousness that will ensue.

Dude. It's a f*cking blood draw. You're joining the Army. Man the f**k up.

At least the lies get creative now lol. I guess no one told you that you have to fast for 12 hours before right? Or that you are only allowed to have black coffee the morning of.
